Credits and Notes

Recorded at The Barn, Trey’s studio in Vermont, the album features Trey backed by a long list of stellar musicians including local Vermont musicians who would later become his touring band. Trey Anastasio really marks the beginning of his afro-cuban 10-piece funk band, featuring many songs that have become quintessential to his live catalog such as “Mr. Completely,” “Money Love And Change,” and “Night Speaks To A Woman.” In additon to the funky horn layers and structured improv of the 10-piece band, Trey Anastasio also features orchestral arrangements by Trey and Troy Peters (of the Vermont Youth Orchestra), marking the beginning stages of Trey’s foray into Orchestral music which would later yield his 2004 album Seis De Mayo.
