New Album, Traveler, Out Today

Trey’s new album, “Traveler”, is out today on Rubber Jungle / ATO Records. Co-produced with Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Jónsi), Traveler features Trey Anastasio Band (TAB) and such guests as Mates of State’s Kori Gardner, The National’s Bryan Devendorf and Matt Berninger, Icelandic percussionist Samuli Kosminen, Rob Moose (Bon Iver, Antony and the Johnsons), Thomas Bartlett (Rufus Wainwright, David Byrne) and theremin virtuoso Rob Schwimmer.

Fans can see Anastasio and many of these artists at work in Katis’ Tarquin Studios in the new video “Land of Nod,” which was shot with Trey’s iPhone. It can be viewed at http://youtu.be/ksV8YKnwW8Y

Trey embarks on a fall tour that kicks off this Thursday, October 18, at The Fillmore in Detroit, MI. The run will include sold-out shows at the Chicago Theatre in Chicago (10/19), New York City’s Beacon Theatre (10/26), Boston’s Orpheum Theatre (10/27) and the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (10/28).

Trey’s 8-piece band consists of Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass), Cyro Baptista (percussion), Ray Paczkowski (keys), Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet, vocals), Natalie Cressman (trombone, vocals) and James Casey (saxophones, vocals).
